Using Quick Lookup to View Assignments And Attendance

NOTE: You can double click on any screen image to enlarge it.  When you want to go back to the blog, click on the X in the upper right corner of the image.

In the Attendance / Grade Report Post, I briefly mentioned Quick Lookup.  In this post, I'll dive deeper into Quick Lookup.  To do this, you must first select a student.  You can do this from the Main PS menu in three ways: 1) Enter the students last name in the Search Students box. 2) Click on the first letter of the students last name and select the student from the list of students. 3) Click on the student's grade and select the student from the list of students. Once you have selected the student, click on Quick Lookup.

You can click on any grade to see the assignments for that course.  In this case, I'm interested in seeing the homework assignments for this student, so I an clicking on the double dashes in the homeroom class.  See the red circle.

The following screen displays all of the assignments and their scores for the class selected.  This teacher creates a separate assignment for each night.

Since the assignment names are blue, I clicked on one of the assignments to get further detail
.

You can also click on any Attendance figure in Quick Lookup to get the actual dates that students were either absent or late.

Once you click on the number, the attendance detail screen will be displayed.
